Have you ever seen guitar like this?
The name ’sticker’ on the head is similar to the ‘Cipher’ Japanese guitar interported by Intermark to the east coast in the 1960’s. Also, the ‘T’ and the ‘V’ knobs are exactly the same as the ‘Cipher’ from that vintage.
There is very little known about the Cipher that is published on the web. Your guitar, actually, has more info available on it.
Thanks – I’ll check it out.

I’ve got this guitar! The word Horugel is written differently (as a fender trade mark). The guy who sold me the guitar told me that is a japanese teisco sold in europe with a differently brand name.
It has a beautiful sound.

Horugel was one of many Jap guitars bombarding the USa in the late 60s-early 70s. These were sometimes very underrated and some had a nice sound and played rather well. I think Teisco T i before e Tiesco or whomever they were sold this line in Germany. My uncle owned a new and used music store from the late 40s til 1974 when he died then my aunt soldiered on with it until the late 90s and closed for good in 2000. We saw loads of stuff like this. I remember the name as it was a hew one on us.
